The Rail hosts the San Diego Cub Contest, a two-day celebration of charm, attitude, and community within the bear and leather scene. Whether you’re a flirt, an artist, an activist, or a certified troublemaker, this weekend gives contestants the chance to show what makes them stand out.

Night one kicks off with a meet & greet, offering contestants and community members a chance to connect. Night two is the main competition and party, featuring personality rounds, stage presence, and all the Cub spirit San Diego is known for.

Winners will receive a custom bar vest, a sash & medallion, and a guaranteed travel fund to represent San Diego on the contest circuit.
