CDR: Country Dancing at The Rail

Country Dancing at The Rail (CDR)

Country Dancing at The Rail (CDR), presented by San Diego Coasters, is a monthly dance night celebrating line and partner dancing in an inclusive, social setting. Held on the last Friday of every month, CDR welcomes dancers of all experience levels for an evening centered on movement, music, and community.

The night includes guided line dance lessons led by rotating instructors, along with support from members of the San Diego Coasters dance community. Lessons are structured to be beginner-friendly while still engaging for experienced dancers, making the event accessible and enjoyable for all attendees.

Music throughout the evening spans multiple genres, including country, Latin, pop, and hip-hop, creating a dynamic dance floor that goes beyond traditional country dancing. Both line dancing and partner dancing are featured, offering variety and opportunities for social connection.
