4 The Drag of It returns for Season 2, bringing a new round of creativity, mentorship, and community to The Rail. This open-stage drag showcase gives emerging performers a chance to experiment, grow, and shine under the guidance of rotating mentors. For this edition, mentors Strawberry and Foxxy Jones will be supporting and uplifting our newest contestants.

This month’s categories are:
• Babygurls — for anyone who’s ever wanted to try drag and step into the spotlight for the first time
• Spoken Word Take 2 — performers can bring 40 seconds of spoken word from any source before transitioning into a song
• Show Us Your Red — a runway or number honoring World AIDS Day (any interpretation welcome as long as it’s red)

New performers are welcome, and only 9 spots are available. Guests can expect a night full of talent, surprises, and heartfelt community support. Come cheer on local artists as they take bold steps in their drag journey.
